Red Hot is a band which was formed in St.Petersburg, Russia. Vlad from "The Wild Cats" plays the guitar in this band. Other members of the band are: another Vlad (up-right bass, vocal) and Andrey (drums). At first they decided to call themselves "Red Rats", but then that name transformed to "Red Hot". Now guys are playing in different clubs. Petersburg is concerned to be the centre of russian rockabily music, so now this rockin' band is successfully developing there. The songs which they play are real rockin'. Sometimes a little bit hard soundin'. They mostly gets their sound from a mixture of jazz, rockabilly, psychobilly, rock, blues. They have a wild version of "Restless" by Carl Perkins. Also they do a wonderful cover of another Perkins' song "Say When". From other cool songs, I can mention, for example "On The Road Again"(Willie Nelson), "Three Cool Cats"(Leiber/Stoller), "Pretty Bad Blues"(Ronnie Self), "True Love Ways" (Buddy Holly), "Tennessee Rock'n'Roll"(Bobby Helms) and many-many-many others.
